The final conversion from numerical to letter grade was as follows.
A = | 83.00 - 100.0 % (88 students) |
B = | 73.00 - 82.99 % (97 students) |
C = | 59.50 - 72.99 % (71 students) |
D = | 45.00 - 59.49 % ( 9 students) |
CR = | 45.00 - 100.0 % (25 students) |
F = | less than 45 % (3 students, other than ones who dropped the course) |
You did very well - there are far more As and Bs than the University expects when it says that B means "above average". The highest final grade was 94.4 %, and 17 people got more than 90 %. Maybe the most important thing that you can learn from this course is the importance of enthusiasm and hard work. You clearly worked hard, and you should be proud of your results. I am, and I wish you well in everything that you do.
Final grades were submitted on Friday, May 6, 2005.
