The final conversion from numerical to letter grade was as follows:
| A = | 83 % or more (55 students) |
| B = | 82 - 71 % (82 students) |
| C = | 70 - 60 % (32 students) |
| D = | 59 - 45 % (18 students) |
| F = | less than 45 % (10 students; it looks like most intended to drop the course) |
As a class, you did very well. There are far more As and Bs than the University expects when it says that B means "above average". In fact, the average grade in the course is B, not C. You should be proud of your work, as I am. I wish you all well in the future.
