The final conversion from numerical to letter grade was as follows:
| A = | 84 % or more (42 students) |
| B = | 74 - 83 % (48 students) |
| C = | 59 - 73 % (47 students) |
| D = | 44 - 58 % (6 students) |
| CR = | 44 - 100 % (8 students) |
| F = | less than 44 % (4 students) |
As a class, you did very well. There are far more As and Bs than the University expects when it says that B means "above average". In fact, the average grade in the course is B, not C. You should be proud of your work. I am, and I wish you all well in the future.
